When the Universe Whispers 'Everything is About to Change'... 🌙
May 02, 2025Last Sunday, I said goodbye to the home that was my sacred space for almost 5 years. It's an incredible story of a big life transformation that is positive in every way, and I'm excited to share a few insights.
2025 is a year of change. Radical change. As the Year of the Snake invites us to shed what we outgrew to rebirth into the new, I've been contemplating how many people around me are going through huge life transformations. I've mapped out 7 keys to navigating big life changes without losing your sanity. 😊
The Process of Big Life Transformation:
- Recognize the signs
- Find an inner yes
- Surrender
- Allow the unexpected
- Cultivate frequency alignment
- Lean on rituals and offerings
- Acknowledge, reflect, and celebrate
Now for the storytelling time...
1. Recognizing the Signs
For the last 2 years, I felt it coming. I felt the wind of change. After living in California for almost 8 years, I began feeling more and more restless. I craved change. The essence of the change I yearned for was a change of pace.
After spending time in Peru's Sacred Valley, I found what was truly healing my soul. It was a different experience of time. In the presence of ancient mountains (as I lovingly call them, my great grandparents), everything was falling into the right perspective. Every time I traveled to Peru, I saw so clearly how tiring the pace of my California life had become.
Even though I felt deeply fulfilled in my life's calling and creative work, I found myself being tired of the complexity of Western life. So naturally, I was looking for that alternative. I craved simplicity. I dreamt of a home somewhere far away surrounded by nature, away from the noise.
Several times in the last 2 years, I considered leaving California - the place that was one of my life's top dreams to live in. What I've learned is that our dreams change as we experience and live them, and as we mature on the soul level.
Several times, I thought about letting go of everything. Giving everything away and moving to Peru. Finding my small dream eco-village where I can walk to the farmer's market to get fresh green juice, come back to my introvert cocoon to read my mystical books and write my own books.
But no matter how restless I'd become and no matter how many times I dreamed about living in South America, Divine Mother kept telling me: "I still need you in California."
A year ago, I had a very sacred encounter, an extraordinary connection, a divinely appointed meeting. I met a man who enchanted my heart. For the last 13 months, we have traveled together through the roads of soul intimacy, anchoring our divine union.
2. Finding an Inner Yes
This brings me to the second key to major life transformation: saying yes to transformation.
Once I started feeling dissatisfied with a way of living that used to deeply inspire and satisfy me, I began to cultivate receptivity to a new way of being. I spent a lot of time in prayer and contemplation, many walks in nature and on the beach, looking for that new quality of vibration that I was desiring to experience in the next leg of my life journey.
What I was yearning for most (and I did not need to leave California to find it) was more ease. I was yearning to have even more spaciousness for my creatrix to open her wings. My inner yes was to find more ease. This was a key insight - the second step to big life transformation: finding an inner yes to a new experience of life.
3. Surrender
Surrender to the arms of the universe. As I call it, the arms of Divine Mother. Surrender opens the space to an infinite amount of possibilities and allows our higher self to guide us to the right possibility.
4. Allow the Unexpected
Two months ago, March 2025, was a huge transformative month of my life. It was absolutely fascinating to watch the universe reshuffle the structures of my life to give me the answer to my intention, to my prayer.
I was ready to release my home to the next person who would be the perfect temple guardian. You see, my home was not just merely a home. It was an intentionally cultivated temple of Divine Mother. There were so many rituals and channelings and spiritual workshops that took place, the home became a living temple. And I wanted to pass it on to a person who could cultivate the community flame after this. I thought I had found that person.
Then, when I was ready to pass my home temple to another guardian, the owner of my home decided to sell the house. This was the unexpected twist in the plot that I did not know would come my way.
But since I wanted ease and more spaciousness, the owner of the house that I lived in wanted the same. They were tired of carrying the expense of a beach house in California. They were tired of increased property taxes, and they also wanted more freedom. So by me telling them that I was ready to let go and find a different place, it gave them an invitation to let go as well.
5. Cultivate Frequency Alignment
It is so easy to fall into the vibration of stress when you're going through a major life change. It's so easy to start worrying and feeling overwhelmed, to stop taking care of yourself - your body, your mind, your practices.
So when I go through these major life changes, I focus on cultivating my frequency. And the frequency that I want to cultivate is a frequency of openness, curiosity, unconditional love, and acceptance.
6. Lean on Rituals and Offerings
What helps me cultivate that frequency alignment is leaning on rituals and offerings. Every single day during the last 2 months of this major transformative process, I was making different offerings.
One of my favorite is the offering of rose petals. I bring rose petals and make offerings to the ocean as a form of gratitude, as a form of connection with the spirits of the water. Rituals helped me to stay grounded and not get overwhelmed or stressed out or lose my center.
While I was going through this major life transition, I decided to keep it very private and only few people knew what I was going through. Because to reveal the process of transformation before it's complete is to invite too many psychic eyes on your process, which can create unnecessary energetic stress and unnecessary energetic destabilization.
So my guidance for anybody who's going through life transformation: keep the process private until you complete the process.
7. Acknowledge, Reflect, and Celebrate
Once you've made the passage, once you've moved, once you've made this big transformative journey - reflect. Acknowledge yourself for the courage, for the trust, for the vulnerability, for the personal growth that you just went through, and celebrate the new state of being that you're experiencing now. Celebrate the expansion of consciousness.
I am so grateful to share with you that I have completed my chapter of living and walking as a solo priestess of Divine Mother. I have started a new chapter, the chapter of divine union, with my beloved and I weaving a home together.
Last Sunday, 5 days ago, we moved in together on a new moon, at the most auspicious time. For the last 5 days, we have been nesting. We have been creating our new home nest, and it's been so beautiful, so enriching. With the right person, this just feels like a natural new step.
What I'm seeing happening collectively is that we come together in units of family - the family that is authentic to you, whatever that family means to you. The divine family is the vibration that I cultivate.
My partner has a 10-year-old daughter, a sweet girl, Amelia. We also have her dog, puppy Cheddar, and my cat, Gracie. So I went from a solo priestess that lived by herself for close to 10 years to a family of 5. And what I can share from the depths of my heart is how natural and smooth this transition has been.
Yes, there have been pockets of extra tiredness because we've been working around the clock setting up our space, but there have also been so many deep experiences of bliss and joy and radiance for the new chapter.
I wanted to share this very personal story and to reflect together on these 7 keys to big life change because this is the year. This is the year to let go of what you outgrew. This is the year to shed what became a burden, to uncomplexify your life, to receive support, to move forward to a next chapter that feels more aligned.
