How do you show up for your business when you are not in the mood?
Consider this email a little micro-alignment. An energetic upgrade.
This morning, I sat down by my devotional altar with a cup of cacao, the way I usually begin my day, and pulled a card from the Divine Prosperity Oracle Deck I created this year.
This is the card that found me:
“When you love your sacred work, then it’s not even about you. You’ll get up and do your sacred work even when you are not in the mood.”

I opened the accompanying guided journal and landed on two prompts:
Do I love my work so much that it transcends my moods and feelings?
What currently motivates me to work: external pressure or internal devotion?
I sat with those questions.
And this is what came through:
I am inspired by devotion.
I have deliberately simplified my life and cut my business overhead to a minimum because I don’t want to create from pressure.
I want to create from devotion.
Devotion feels like a fountain within me that never runs out because it continually replenishes itself.
It is a source of my inner strength, resilience, and calm.
And perhaps most importantly:
My work is not only mine to carry.
It is a collaborative partnership with the Divine.
Yesterday, I spent the day at the San Diego Safari Park with a dear friend. We wandered among beautiful landscapes, elephants, and giraffes, talking about life and work.
On our way home, she asked me:
“What are you excited about in your work right now?”
I immediately started listing everything I’m creating.
Then I said:
“I love my work with all my heart. To me, it doesn’t really feel like work. It feels like constant play.”
She asked a good question.
“Are there parts of your work that don’t feel like play?”
Of course.
But I’ve learned to engage with those parts playfully, too.
I’ve noticed that different parts of my business ask me to inhabit different archetypes.
Some days, I am the Channel and the Artist.
Those are the days I protect for creative flow. I channel, write, teach, imagine, and allow something that didn’t exist before to come through me.
Other days, I become the Builder.
I build the email sequence. Refine the marketing strategy. Follow up. Organize. Tend to clients. Create systems. Finish what the Artist began.
I’ve learned not to demand that both archetypes inhabit me at the same time.
I give them different days.
But there is one thing woven through both:
Devotion.
My friend said something else that stayed with me:
“It’s so rare for someone’s gifts and talents to be so fused with their profession.”
And I said, “Yes. It is rare.”
But this has also been my life task.
I dedicated my life to discovering my gifts, developing them until they became genuinely useful to others, and then building a life and business around them.
For me, that was the quest.
I knew I could not rest until I found that alignment.
It was even more important to me than finding a partner. Before I went looking for partnership, I needed to find this.
My sacred purpose.
And yet—even when you find it, you are still human.
You still have moods.
Your motivation fluctuates.
There are things you love doing and things you would rather postpone until tomorrow.
Purpose does not turn you into a productivity machine.
It gives you something deeper than motivation to draw from.
Devotion.
This is why I return to my altar in the morning.
I sit down.
I become quiet.
I remember why I do what I do.
Because when you see your work as sacred, you begin to show up for it as sacred.
And this brings me back to why my partner and I created the Divine Prosperity Oracle Deck and Journal in the first place.
In many ways, I created this project for myself.
I wanted to test the depth of my own commitment.
Creating a physical product was a completely different initiation for me than creating a digital one. There were so many more details. So many more steps. So many opportunities to say:
Maybe someday.
But I wanted to know how far my devotion could carry me.
Some creative projects are not only created for an audience.
They are created for our own mastery.
The book you finally finish.
The oracle deck that stops living in your imagination.
The mastermind you launch.
The retreat you finally put on the calendar.
The body of work you have been circling for years.
When you bring it into form, you discover something about yourself:
This is how deep my devotion runs.
And that discovery changes you.
So the next time you are not in the mood to show up for your sacred work, remember:
You do not have to manufacture more motivation.
There is a deeper current available.
Return to what you love.
Return to what you serve.
Return to the reason this work chose you in the first place.
And let devotion carry you.
With love,
Katerina

And if there is a brave project inside you—a book, body of work, retreat, program, reinvention, or next expression of your leadership—that you are no longer willing to postpone for another ten years, I have space for one more private client.
We can begin the conversation now and prepare for our deeper work together.
And if private mentorship isn’t where you want to begin, you can always enter through my library of self-study courses and follow the thread that calls you.
